THE WEST HOLLYWOOD SIGN

Hello lovers, lurkers, haters and WeHo history buffs!!!  Does anyone remember the old West Hollywood Sign?  Does anyone have any information on this historical little symbol in the heart of WeHo back in the early 80s?  When did it go up?  When did it come down?  Why was it torn down?
