The Annual Weho Dike March kicked a roach stomping combat boot forward to officially start the Los Angeles Christopher Street West PRIDE Celebration.
This is probably the only time of the year when some of these ladies get out of the house (or are allowed to get out of the house). We had dykes on bikes, dykes walking strollers, dykes on roller skates, pretty lipstick dykes and some pretty scary ones too.
The streets were pounding with whistles blowing, drums beating (lesbies love to pound on some drums, let me tell ya) and people cheering.
You could not help but get sucked in by all the energy and unity on Santa Monica Boulevard. It was fun to watch. It seriously brought a smile to my face.
