HAPPY 2013!!!
Just wanted to pop in here real quick to wish you guys a HAPPY MUTHER FUCKING NEW YEAR!!!
The year 2012 flew by so damn fast. The clock is ticking and nothing marks the passing of time like the damn countdown on New Year’s Eve with all its high expectations towards something shiny and new. 2012 has been a good year, but I’m ready to turn the page and see what 2013 has to offer. I seriously don’t know what to make of the lucky number 13, nor do I have the slightest idea what it will look like. To be honest with you, I didn’t plan to be on this planet this long. God was supposed to take my ass out 10 years ago–we had a deal–but you know what they say, man plans; God laughs. I’m still here dammit! I assume I remain with good reason and some kind of purpose.
I reckon I’m grateful for the life I live and for the people that surround me who inspire me to keep on keep on. If you look at the archives of this here hiss fit, you’ll notice that I wrote way many more blogs this year than any other year since I first started this website. It’s been that kind of year. I can’t stress enough how grateful I am to all of you who come on here to cheer for me and to those who secretly judge me (I know you haters are out there). If it wasn’t for the counts per day in my dashboard, I probably wouldn’t be doing this, so THANK YOU for being out there — and on a side note, THANK YOU to my friend Brian Hamilton, who not only pestered me to get this website started for years, but he has been the webmaster of this here page from the VERY beginning. Brian, without you I’M NOTHING!!!
Goodbye 2012. Hello 2013. I don’t know what you have in store for me, but I’m going to channel light, peace, serenity, abundance, joy, good health, bitchy inspiration, and of course some wicked laughter. I sense good things ahead. No jinx about it.
Once again…
HAPPY NEW YEAR FUCKERS!!!
Be safe. Don’t drink and drive. Try not to get your ass kicked before the New Year. And to all my fellow sobers, hang in there. I wish you continued sobriety forever and ever.
Here’s to a better tomorrow. 2013 is all shiny and new.
Luv,
Me
