SKY FITS HEAVEN

HissFit-Paulo Articles Hollywood Hills, Hour Fitness, Los Angeles, Sunday September

I could not help but notice the sky display a few moments ago this evening of Sunday September 4th 2011 at around 7:20pm.  I admit that the rainbow is somewhat janky as far as color clarity and arch is concerned, but rainbows are so rare over Los Angeles that when you get a glimpse of one–even if it’s all janky in the midst of a thick sheet of smog, you just gottah capture it.  I seriously ran to the rooftop of 24-Hour Fitness, swearing the rainbow would be completely faded by the time I reached the top.  However, there it stood over the Hollywood Hills.  It was a fat one from where I stood.  I hear it ended somewhere in Burbank.  Anyway…enjoy.  If you’re into this sort of thing.

Is this evidence of God or just is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the Sun shines on to droplets of moisture in the Earth's atmosphere?

Lonely Palm Tree --- Or is it?

I sweet lady walking to her car offered to take my picture against this beautiful sky. She took one picture. And this is the shot. If she had tilted my phone ever so slightly, you would have been able to see the very top of my head. And this is why I hate people.

***UPDATE SEP 5th***

Turns out every queen and their best sister took a picture of that damn rainbow that night and then posted it all over Facebook (guilty gulp).  Some were pretty good shots.

My friend John S caught this double header from someone's backyard. It made me mad.
