DESIGN OF A DECADE

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

It’s been a crazy ten years full of some good laughs (at other people’s expense admittedly) and some ugly cries (where pain completely distorts my face). My life was full of scandals, drama, troubles and chaos in the beginning of the past decade…and the middle…and a little towards the end (gulp). I was all over the place and then sat back and watched those bridges burn. If you were there, you were there, and if not…I didn’t care. All that self-obsession, which was interlaced with abusive self-deprecation didn’t get me too far, but hell no I’m not sorry for the life I lived, for it was in my darkest hour that I began to see. and like that old fuddy-duddy song goes, I can see clearly the rain is gone.

Let us not waste too much time with morbid reflection. I’d rather look back at my life and capture those rare glimpses of light.

Here’s to another interesting ten years. Let’s have the time of our lives.
